HRGO are seeking a Head of Resourcing. The Resourcing Teams provide recruitment, onboarding and HR transactional processes, for the medical and non-medical workforce for the Trust. The Head of Resourcing has responsibility for ensuring these operational services are aligned, efficient, responsive and well led, with a clear focus on delivery.
JOB PURPOSE:
To lead on resourcing/recruitment and take part in and lead on the recruitment elements and associated areas of workforce planning and development.
Design and deliver strategic recruitment campaigns and work closely with the HR Business Partners and staffing leads to ensure the Trust has live recruitment plans that support the delivery of excellent patient care by reducing the Trust vacancy levels, improving the quality of appointments made and maintaining a recruitment (talent) pool.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Lead on the development of a robust and efficient transactional HR service desk model.
Oversee the development of HR systems, processes, policies and procedures to ensure they support and reinforce the Trusts approach to its people.
Ensure appropriate utilisation of technology to deliver efficient and effective people management processes.
Develop and support the implementation of a Trust wide resourcing strategy aligned to the priorities identified
Forecast resourcing demand to ensure HR service delivery meets defined service levels, standards and priorities.
Act as the Trust specialist in recruitment, working alongside senior managers to understand their resourcing needs and developing innovative and effective solutions in response.
Lead on the delivery of the MFT employee brand through our internet pages, social media campaigns and other relevant channels.
Continually review the Trust's recruitment and selection methods, keeping abreast of new initiatives and best practice in order to provide a modern flexible and streamlined approach that is responsive to the needs of recruiting managers as well as applicants.
Qualification
Educated to Masters level or be able to demonstrate an equivalent level of experience
CIPD membership/qualification or willingness to undertake
PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification or equivalent level of experience
Leadership/Management qualification or equivalent level of experience
Must have previous NHS experience
Knowledge
Knowledge of key current issues in skills shortages within the NHS
Knowledge of best practice in terms of safer recruitment in the healthcare environment
In-depth understanding of employment legislations and UKVI practices
Extensive knowledge of the pressures on the NHS with regards to demand reduction and control of temporary staffing spend.
Proven project management skills and experience within a busy HR environment
Salary Band 8B, £25.16 - £30.18 per hour
