Head of Operations opportunity at this medium sized growing and successful sheet metal and fabrications organisation. The role oversees and takes responsibility for all aspects of the day to day running of the company ensuring that manufacturing runs smoothly and that efficiency's are maintained and improved across the business.

Responsibilities include managing the different departmental sections of the business, highlighting new technologies and industry best practice to continuously improve the company and collaborating with other senior management to formulate strategy.

You will be a proven manufacturing leader capable of multi-tasking and pulling together numerous different aspects of the production of complex multi-operation parts and sub assembly actions and organising efficiency, quickly focusing on any bottlenecks or problem areas. You will ideally have have a broad knowledge of the sheet metal fabrications industry but experience of complex manufacturing is more critical.

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as Head of Operations, Operations Manager / Director or similar leadership role in a multi-operation manufacturing company.
• Solid understanding of the Sheet metal fabrications industry or similar.
• Familiarity with a wide range of business functions
• Good with numbers and financial planning
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent organisational and leadership ability
