HRGO are recruiting for an International Groupage Operator for our reputable client based in Dover, Kent. We are ideally seeking someone with previous experience in similar role, however we may consider people without if they have a keen attitude to learn.
Main responsibilities:
Raise and complete files to be sent to the Administration department on a timely basis.
Manage client enquiries regarding delivery details throughout the day.
Ensure orders are entered onto the in house system and organise direct deliveries and part/full loads.
Arrange train/ferry travel when required.
Use own initiative to make decisions relevant to your area of control
Requirements:
To be selected for this role, the right candidate must have at least 3 years experience in the haulage/ freight industry with a good understanding of all aspects of Fleet & Driver management, including scheduling/planning. Excellent analytical, organisational, communicational skills; with the ability to communicate in another European language (German or Italian would be desirable, but not essential.
The hours are 08:30am - 17:30pm with 1 hour for lunch. Monday to Friday.
