Our client on the outskirts of Crewkerne is looking for a French speaking Business Development Executive

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated, organised and professional individual to join their team

Job Description:

Full Time Position 8.00am - 4.00 pm Monday - Friday

Over the last 30 years this company has built up an international reputation for the research, development, formulation and manufacture of the finest quality natural healthcare products for horses and pets.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a proven track record in sales and customer service to join our team and help us continue to develop our French market. Full product training will be provided, but applicants must have a good basic knowledge of horse and pet care, and or knowledge of the equestrian industry.

We are looking to recruit:

someone fluent ( mother tongue) in French and English. You must have good Equine knowledge and if they you have pet knowledge so much the better.

YOu will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, organised, professional individual. The successful applicant will be required to focus on supporting and further developing our existing French - Retail, Web, & B2B markets.

Required Skills:

• Fluent French & English ( written & spoken)

• Proven B2C & B2B sales experience

• Highly Computer Literate with good knowledge of Excel , Word, Office, Outlook & Website Back Office

• Good practical knowledge of horse / pet care, management and common horse/pet health conditions

• Ability to organise and manage their time effectively

• A friendly, confident and professional telephone manner

• Able to work both independently and as part of a small team

• Willing to work away from home on occasions

Duties will include:

• Sales order processing - Phone, Web, Email, & Trade

• Customer Advice and queries ( phone, webchat, email, Hubspot)

• Developing close contacts with our existing Private, Trade and Wholesale customers

• Website back office updating

• Identifying and developing new markets/sales

• Handling and progressing Trade & Wholesale enquiries

• Liaising with retailers

• Responsibility for representing the company on our EU Tradestands

This is an office based position so applicants must live within reasonable commuting distance of their offices near Crewkerne Somerset.
