Hrgo are looking for a Freight Forwarder for our client based in Dover. Experience in Freight Forwarding, European or domestic road freight, logistics in either the UK or Europe is essential. . You must be organised, reliable and be able to work in a busy environment.

Duties include.

• Investigating and planning the most appropriate route for shipments

• Obtaining, checking and preparing documentation

• Meet customs and insurance requirements and packing specifications

• Compliance with other countries' regulations

• Maintaining communication and control through all phases of the journey

• Build excellent relationships with clients

• Answer incoming telephone calls professionally and deal with enquiries quickly

• Complete shipping documentation, such as including bills of lading and certificates of origin.

• Maintaining records of goods dispatched or received.

• Monitor or record locations of goods in transit.

Hours are Monday - Friday , ,8.30am - 5.30pm with an hours lunch and phone sharing when required. The successful candidate will be part of a strong team and the role will be full time and permanent.
