Due to our rural location, it is essential that the successful candidate MUST hold a driving license.

Shift Pattern

Working Monday to Friday with start times between 05:30 and 14:00 in line with the business requirements.

Job Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Apple grader and 5 automated peeling machines, they will be working in close collaboration with the Engineering team, the Apple line supervisors and the Apple store operator.

The successful candidate will have good organisational skills with high levels of numeracy and literacy and, will ideally have previous experience of FMCG or food manufacturing and machine operation.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Safe operation of all equipment in line with the company H&S policy.

• Follow the production plan ensuring correct stock is issued to the production line.

• Capture and record any down times on the relevant documents, communicating these to the area supervisor.

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

• Provide a detailed handover at shift change to the incoming operator/area supervisor.

Upon successful completion of a 12-week probationary period the candidate will receive a one off £300 bonus.
