POSITION: FLT (Chemical experience desirable)(temporary contract)

LOCATION: Ellesmere Port

HOURS: Monday- Friday 8:00-16:00

SALARY: £11.15 per hour

Job Purpose:

To safely receive and unload all categories of waste as directed by Technical staff. To repack, bulk, re-handle, store and label those wastes designated by site management systems in line with current procedures and work instructions.

The ideal candidate will have experience on a COMAH site.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Forklift truck driving licence and basic maintenance check skills
• Chemical hazard and handling awareness.
• Personal discipline, correct use of PPE/RPE, plant and equipment and able to follow procedure without compromise.
• Co-operation and flexibility as a member of the overall Day Team.
• Desirable
• Tanker offloading & general tank farm operations.
• Experience within the chemical processing industry
• Basic understanding of the incineration process.
