FLT - Reach Truck Driver

Temp to perm opportunity for an experienced Reach truck Driver in the Brackmills area of Northampton.

Monday to Friday - 40 hours a week with daily 30 minute break which is unpaid.

This is a fast paced hands on role and previous experience is a must.

THE ROLE:

➢ Receiving, storage and dispatch of goods ensuring quality and efficiency, and the achievement of targets set

➢ Work as part of a team and actively demonstrate a willingness to support and achieve the overall business objectives

➢ Maintain a sound understanding of the distribution process and how this impacts on the requirement for goods to be transported to, from and around the warehouse/yard

➢ Make up orders ensuring correct products picked from racking, correct quantity of product picked and correct clear labelling ready for distribution

➢ Undertake training, development and re-assessments as required to meet legislative or organisational requirements

Skills & Experience required

➢ Previous experience in a similar fast paced position

➢Able to work on own initiative

➢Good communication skills

➢Valid Reach Truck licence

Due to the nature of the role which requires dealing with heavy goods, candidates should be physically fit. You will be self-motivated, able to build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and customers alike whilst working to achieve daily targets and deadlines.

HOURS:

Monday - Friday 14:00 - 22:00 (lots of overtime available if desired)

RATES OF PAY:

Monday to Friday: £10.75

Saturday: £16.13

Sunday £18.81

This is a temp to perm position, after 8 weeks with HRGO you will move over to full time permanent employment where you will receive the following benefits:
