Position: FLT Counterbalance

Location: Ellesmere Port

Hours: 12 hour shifts 2 days 2 nights 4 off

Salary: Up to £23,000p/a

We are looking for highly motivated individual to be part of our client's team within their state-of-the-art Plant based on the Wirral. Duties:

• Ensure outbound loads are loaded safely and on time in accordance with SOPs.
• Receiving and unloading deliveries coming in from suppliers and processing them as per the Goods In Procedure
• Moving stock around the Plant so that they reach their intended destination on time and when required.
• Loading the planned vehicle with the prepared load and preparing the relevant delivery paperwork to ensure an on-time departure.
• Assist in any stock checks and keeping stock systems updated.
• Be on shift ready to operate promptly at the time of start and hand over to incoming colleague as needed.
• Operation of a forklift
• Work within a team and communicate well even under pressure, and take full responsibility for the quality of product going out and coming in.
• Communicate with responsible person any health and safety issues, maintenance issues or matters of concern on the floor.
• Use PPE and wear appropriate clothing as provided. (This may include in time a uniform)
• Undertake certain responsibilities of fellow warehouse colleagues in the event of absence.
• Ensuring all warehouse locations are kept clean and tidy in line with current business and health & safety requirements.
• Operate in line with Health and Safety regulations set out in the training.
• Partake and suggest improvements that can be made in terms of the Warehouse Areas and related processes.
• Any other reasonable request by management

Skill and Qualifications:

• In date FLT Counterbalance License
• Minimum of 2 Years' experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Flexible approach to work and duties
