Fixed Cost Financial Controller

For our prestigious client leader in forest industry we are looking for Fixed Cost Financial Controller. The business unit we are recruiting for create renewable and responsible wood-based alternatives for fossil-based materials utilizing our expertise in engineering, innovation and digitalization.

Financial controller role in global functions fixed costs responsible for providing best in class accounting and fixed costs allocations services, as well as analytics and support in budgeting and forecasting. The role provides support to global functions business controllers and managers.​

Main responsibilities:

  • Perform complex accounting and business reporting services within global functions area,​
  • Responsibility of reporting in own area and it's short-term development in co-operation with relevant stakeholders and teams,​
  • Participation in development projects,​
  • Proactively identify and implement continuous improvement of accounting and reporting services, processes and tools,​
  • Act as a single point of contact/key user for defined areas and drive cooperation with the relevant stakeholders,​
  • Work closely with Finance Directors, Chief Accountants and business controllers to ensure compliance and high quality,​
  • Ensure outsourcing partner has needed on-time information, co-ordinate and monitor the tasks performed by outsourcing partner,​
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, business rules, policies, guidelines and legal requirements,​
  • Responsibility to drive finance transformation in own accountability area to meet Vision of World Class Finance,
  • Responsibility of Knowledge center in own area (documentation and training).

Requirements:

  • ​Understanding of finance processes and their relation to the technical infrastructure,​
  • 5 years of experience in management or financial accounting and reporting,​
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior managers and directors​
  • Experience in global organization is considered as an asset,​
  • Motivation to stay updated, future oriented and development mind-set​
  • Analytical skills and attention to details,​
  • Initiative and challenge-the-status-quo mindset,​
  • Collaboration and team-working skills with flexible and positive attitude towards changes​
  • Fluency in English, other language skills are a benefit​
  • Experience of SAP (R/3 or S/4) is considered as an asset​
