Financial Controller Our client is looking to recruit a confident, self-assured Financial Controller to join their successful manufacturing business. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, strong influencing skills with the ability to liaise with staff at a range of levels. Reporting to the Finance Director, the role will be responsible for the management and performance reporting for the company. Providing commentary and analysis of the business performance, monthly, to the Executive Team. It will entail close examination of the business system information, formulating reports, making enquiries and generally building a sound understanding of the drivers and dynamics of each area of the business. Responsibilities and Duties * Preparation of monthly managements accounts, annual budgets and monthly forecasts and statutory accounts. * Oversea monthly payroll submission * Coordinate the annual audit * Management of the general ledger accounts, purchase ledger and sales ledger * Assist in the preparation of Financial KPI to ensure close monitoring of the business * Management of the finance department * Preparation of statutory returns including Government Statistics, VAT and PAYE * Prepare pension returns for company pension plan * Financial analysis of performance statistics, variance analysis and commercial financial results * Take responsibility for operating cash flow and cash collection * Deputise for the Finance Director in their absence Knowledge and Experience * Qualified accountant, preferably CIMA / ACCA or equivalent * Excellent management accounting experience * ERP implementation experience an advantage * 5 years + post qualification experience Location: Harlow Salary: £45k - £55k + Excellent benefits
