HRGO are seeking a European Team Leader for our established client based in Dover. You will be overseeing the running of and driving growth in the Import Road Freight Operations, also assisting on the Export side. Building relationships with new and existing clients and key suppliers for the European network and must already have experience working on the French route. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and diligent, with strong organisational skills.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities will include:
Team Lead for European trailer / load planner with Key area French Import responsibilities.
Plan jobs / transport accordingly
Advise suppliers of the collection / pick up details
Negotiating prices with hauliers.
Updating client spread sheets in lieu of T&T systems.
Booking the deliveries into the respective destinations.
Monitoring deliveries ensuring we are on time and advising clients of any delays etc.
Logging and co-ordinating responses to invoice queries
Additional Duties
Complete all required import/export paperwork including customs, bills of lading, invoicing and other essential import / export documentation.
Review all bookings
Ensure customs clearances are completed by in house customs teams.
You will be required to work Monday to Friday but be flexible when required, hours are 9.00am - 17.30 pm. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a successful and professional company.
