We are Recruiting for Emergency Call Handlers to work in a Call Centre based in Norwich.
You will be answering operational calls that come into the EOC. Utilise the chosen clinical triage software system in order to prioritise calls as soon as possible. Enter information into the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system accurately and promptly. Provide pre-arrival advice to callers where appropriate.
Expectations of Staff -
This is a challenging, emotional role with lots to learn. High pressured environment that is ever changing. Effective written & verbal communication skills. Customer service experience with effective listening skills. 4 GCSEs, key board skills & computer literate. Multi-tasking and remaining calm under pressure. Flexible, empathetic and compassionate.
Shift Pattern - 24/7 365 role with a mixture of days, lates & nights in a rota, full training is provided with 1 week, classroom training Monday - Friday followed by mentoring shifts. There is potential for this temporary position to turn into a permanent position after 12 weeks employment.
The breakdown of hourly pay rates are listed below:
Weekdays 06:00 - 20:00 - £10.40 per hour
Saturdays and Nights 20:00 - 06:00 - £14.39 per hour
Sundays and Bank Holidays - £17.57 per hour
