Position: Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Deeside

Hours: Monday-Friday Days

Salary: Up to £45,000p/a

Job spec:

I am currently looking for a Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to lead a well-established team within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing company.

The ideal candidate will be electrically bias with a very hands-on approach, previous supervisory and automotive manufacturing experience would be desirable.

Duties:

• Lead for plant maintenance system.
• Become plant super user for QMS maintenance system.
• Arranging works orders and agreeing prioritisation to ensure plant maintains current performance +91% OEE
• Continuous improvement activities of current production lines and plant facilities liaising with Engineering Manager.Manage shift engineers for day-to-day activities
• Support launch of new project (P33B) €20 Million annualised Business (SOP 2021 - 2026)
• Key support in scrap reduction - (Current plant level COPQ 0.8% YTD)
• Focused on MTBF improvements KPI
• Planning all engineering tasks PMs and Corrective work orders within QMM
• Focused on MTTR improvements KPI
• Support ISO 14001 & ISO 45001.
• Supervision of contractor Maintenance
• Ensure all service contracts up to date and maintain business continuity
• Support CAPEX projects
• Root Cause Analysis for engineering delays / downtime.
• Manage H&S PFUS in closing all engineering actions

Qualifications & Experience:

• Recognised electrical engineering qualifications.
• 18th Edition or equivalent.
• H&S / compliance knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Self-motivated, resourceful and hands on
• Previous experience within the automotive industry would be an advantage.
