Duty Maintenance Manager opportunity at a global and expanding cargo airline. Operating out of Heathrow Airport, the Duty Maintenance Manager will oversee and delegate the day-to-day duties of the companies Maintrol and line engineers, as well as any contracted service providers. Furthermore, you will co-ordinate maintenance contracts, ensuring that unforeseen circumstances can be resolved in a timely and efficient manner. Please note that you must have a Part 66 License to qualify for this role, with a type rating on Boeing 747-400/8 being as distinct advantage.
The main duties of the Duty Maintenance Manager include, but aren't limited to:
Managing both the MCC and LAE teams, controlling shift patterns and ensuring ant maintenance and AOG activity is completed.
Acting as a representative for the company when maintenance takes place off site.
Reviewing tenders and contracts, alongside creating strong relationships with suppliers.
Ensuring company procedures meet all necessary rules and regulations.
Monitoring the performance of maintenance providers and investigating any irregular events and incidents.
Making sure that any defects are rectified in line with EASA requirements.
Overseeing the budget of maintenance activities.
This role works on a rolling shift pattern on a 4 on 4 off basis, with 22 days annual leave and a maximum of 198 working hours in a month.
A strong working knowledge of EASA Part M and Part 145 are required, alongside vast experience within aircraft maintenance management and contracts.
