HRGO Norwich Draughtsman Permanent Full Time £DOE Overview We have a rare opportunity for a Draughtsman to join our small office team. The successful candidate will be fully conversant with 2D Autocad and 3D Autocad/Inventor with a proven track record in Coming from an engineering background, the successful candidate will have an understanding of metal fabrication, assembly and installation. Responsibilities and Duties Production of accurate manufacturing drawings from the correctly specified materials Production of full assembly drawings & parts lists from manufacturing drawings Production of accurate 2D & 3D models Understand engineering materials, properties & manufacturing processes of these materials Transference of drawings to the vault Work with the wider team to agree suitable drawing structures Help resolve design related issues Liaise with and support Project Manager Key Skills Proficient in AutoCad and Inventor 3D Flexible and self-motivated Good all round knowledge of Microsoft Office Proven Construction/Steel Fabrication background Capable of producing BOMs Willing to go above and beyond to achieve high level results Ability to provide innovative solutions that add value Full driving licence As part of a small dedicated team it will be necessary to undertake other tasks as and when required including office duties, project management, purchasing etc. Flexibility regarding job role and duties is therefore essential and being able to work well in a close team environment is a must.
