An excellent opportunity for those who have a minimum of 2 - 3 years experience of working within the construction sector.
This is an office based role, working within the estimating and design side, pricing up jobs and sending quotations back to customers.
Candidates will possess excellent communication skills as you will need to liaise with clients regarding their requirements and also be able to answer any technical queries they may have. You will need to liaise with all internal departments, regarding any changes to clients orders.
The role itself requires you to price up various jobs for builders merchants, architects, housing developers and smaller contractors. You will need to possess good numeracy skills as the role will require you to look at measurements when pricing, to 'mm' accuracy. You will need to be able to read drawings.
An good understanding of the construction sector is required, together with HND / HNC in Civil Engineering / Building Studies or Construction.
