Our Client based in Dover, is looking for a Customs Clearance Manager for their family owned company. This will suit a highly experienced Manager who has drive and tenacity, with the know ledge of Customs Clearance procedures and an extensive understanding of Brexit procedures. In-house training and support in all aspects of the job will be given and you can expect an exciting role in the Logistics Industry.

Your Responsibilities:

• Preparing and advising the company management in all Customs Clearance aspects relevant to Brexit

• Training new employees in relation to Custom Clearance procedures - post Brexit

• Ensuring that all necessary Custom Clearance processes post Brexit are implemented accurately and on time.

• Leading the Customs Clearance Department post Brexit

You must be fully conversant with all aspects of Customs procedures and keep yourself informed regarding Brexit negotiations. You must be aware of the current positions between the UK and the EU and have the ability to assess the impact that Brexit options will have on the UK Marketplace. Languages would be an advantage but not essential. A minimum of 5 years Customs Clearance experience is required for this role.
