Hrgo are seeking an experienced Customs Clearance Clerk for our Client in the Dover area. Good analytical and excellent organisational skills are essential and you must work in a methodical manner and be able to respond effectively to enquiries. You should have previous experience as a Customs Clerk , ideally between 3 and 5 years.
Calculating Duty / VAT cost for each consignment
Processing Import/Export declarations
Dealing with general enquiries from importers / exporters concerning all areas, relating to Customs Procedures, Tariff Classifications, Duty Rates and any other documentation requirements
Keeping up to date with changes in regulations, laws and customs procedures
Hours are full time, 9.00am -5.30pm, Monday - Friday. This is a permanent position and is an excellent opportunity to work with a successful and professional company.
