Successful conference producers are at the heart of any event - in-depth research, targeting appropriate market segments, effective programme writing, speaker procurement, and onsite management are just some of the areas of activity. You will be joining an established team within the fast-growing business sector producing industry leading international conferences in Europe and North America.

The role and responsibilities:

Identify new, interesting and commercially viable topics and business ideas through primary industry research and speaking to business leaders

Based on research, to effectively write commercially viable agendas

To identify, source and speak to senior industry professionals in their field to research topics and/or invite to speak

To provide marketing copy and work closely with marketing, sales and logistics teams to ensure the conference is successful

Managing your own portfolio of projects, you will be responsible for the overall success of the event you produce

Communicate effectively with the sales, marketing and logistical teams

The successful candidate should have:

A desire to succeed, to find a role that is personally and professionally rewarding and to advance your skills and experience

Strong academic background, with at least a 2:1

Commercial acumen; be astute, with an entrepreneurial spirit

Research skills and an inquisitive nature to delve into and learn new topics

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Energy, enthusiasm and desire in abundance, you will be self-motivated, pro-active and a problem solver to help achieve goals and targets

Must be able to work flexible hours and is willing to travel

Strong telephone manner and confidence in outreach over the phone

Training and development:

On the job training provided with Production Director

A detailed training plan outlined at the beginning with regular check ins to tailor the plan to individual progress
