Job Title: Company Secretariat Administrator
Location: Birmingham Central
Salary: £250.00 - £300.00 Per day
Hours: 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday
Description
As the Company Secretariat Administrator, you will support the Company Secretariat team to manage the operational support provided to governance entities to assure high quality outcomes, right first time. The Company Secretariat Administrator will also support the Company Secretariat team to enable such team to provide a full range of company secretarial and related services its Board, Board sub-committees, the Executive Committee and its sub-committees in order to minimise exposure and risk.
About the role:
* Support the Company Secretariat team to develop, implement and improve the corporate governance structure and processes.
* Provide all operational support provided to governance entities to ensure high quality outcomes, right first time.
* Arranging Board meetings, Board Sub-Committee meetings, Executive Committee meetings and Executive Sub-Committee meetings, including liaising with meeting members in connection with agendas, actions, meeting packs and minutes
Participate in team meetings on the Company Secretariat team's activities in order to ensure continuous improvement, to assist colleagues and to enable the implementation of policy, projects and change initiatives

* Ability to keep sensitive information confidential and to deal with large amounts of information
* Ability to anticipate the Company Secretariat team's needs and have the ability to solve problems without direct supervision
* Ability to manage relationships with multiple internal stakeholders
* Conflict resolution skills - including the ability to manage competing stakeholder priorities
* Communication Skills - including the ability to liaise with various internal stakeholders, influence and challenge appropriately
* IT skills - including Microsoft office applications
* Accuracy ("right first time") and version control - including the ability to ensure documents are accurate and delivered to deadline
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, ability to produce a variety of documents without supervision
* Able to adapt to use of board portal software (e.g. BoardPad, Admin Control, etc)
* Experience in drafting documents to a high degree of accuracy for large, complex organisations with multiple stakeholders
* Experience in drafting communications to very senior personnel (including emails, action lists, meeting agendas, etc) using 'plain English' style
* Experience of monitoring (and commenting on compliance with) timescales and processes
