We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer with AWS to work with our engineering and ops team to develop, implement, optimize, and maintain cloud-based solutions. You will be responsible for deploying and debugging cloud stacks, educating teams on new cloud initiatives, orchestrating and automating cloud-based platforms, ensuring the security of the cloud infrastructure, making recommendations as needed to help the organization innovate and excel.

Requirements:

  • AWS: 2+ years experience with using a broad range of AWS technologies (e.g. EC2, RDS, ELB, EBS, S3, VPC, Glacier, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS) to develop and maintain an Amazon AWS based cloud solution, with an emphasis on best practice cloud security.
  • Container and Orchestration: 2+ years experience with container tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform)
  • CI/CD (good understanding of the practices and principles)
  • Elasticsearch (or other log aggregation skills/experience)
  • DevOps: Solid experience as a DevOps Engineer in a 24x7 uptime Amazon AWS environment, including automation experience with configuration management tools
  • Scripting Skills: Strong scripting (e.g. Groovy) and automation skills
  • Monitoring Tools: Experience with system monitoring tools.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues.
  • Linux experience
