Position: Chemical Engineer
Location: Ellesmere Port + International Travel Required
Hours: Monday to Friday - Days
Salary: £55,000 Per Annum

HR GO Recruitment are looking for an experienced Chemical Engineer for our fantastic client based in Ellesmere Port.

The Role:

• Provide expertise and technical support to sales in EMEA, (including regular international travel as required), plant production issues and resolutions.
• New account sales identification, development, and field sales support
• Pre application discovery audit preparation and on site audit completion with sales along with new treatment start-up support
• Carrying out pre application discovery audits, running field performance trials with our own technical service engineers, which would include data gathering from the DCS and interpreting chemical performance, liaising with the operations teams, and making dose adjustments recommendations where necessary. Post start-up remote performance monitoring and remote servicing support
• Maintain a good knowledge of the primary chemical products, understanding its drivers and trends.
• Provide technical support for defining and developing strategies for new products and/or applications.
• Represent the company at industry events / committees.

Requirements:

• A degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or aligned subject.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of sales and marketing activities and techniques.
• An awareness of the treatment and use of process additive solutions in chemical production.
• Strong communication skills
