HR GO Recruitment are looking for a Chef to work in a Home care in Oxford.

This role is excellent for a person happy to be part of a community that enables people to live later live well.

Working days: Monday - Friday

Pay: £10.84

As a Chef your duties will include:

• Enjoys the fast pace of the kitchen and can consistently produce top quality dishes under pressure.
• A born leader who relishes taking responsibility for the running of the kitchen, but also knows when and how to delegate.
• Overall responsibility for daily operations in the kitchen
• Liaising with purchasing companies for food orders
• Maintaining or raising the profit margins on food
• Producing menus and new dishes
• Managing, training and recruiting a brigade of chefs
• Candidates will require:
• Excellent cooking skills
• An understanding of produce and ingredients
• The ability to write menus that are both creative and profitable
• Supervisory and management skills
• Stock taking skills
• Level 3 Health and Safety and Food Hygiene certificates
• Strong understanding of HACCP

Food Hygiene Certificate is a must
