We have an exciting opportunity for a Catering Manager, The venue is a multi-purpose venue, so be prepared for anything! There are conference facilities catering from 2-1000 people there are also offices on site. We open 7 days a week; Monday-Thursday 7.00 am - 8.15 pm Friday-Saturday 7.00 am - 3.00 pm Sunday 9.00 am - 2.00 pm You will lead a dedicated team of 25, who will support you in your duties. Responsibilities The successful Catering Manager will undertake the following duties: Overall efficient and effective management of the restaurant with providing a high level of customer service. Responsible for overseeing the preparation, cooking, service of food and the front of house operation. Running any events in our venue. Menu planning. Stock control - using your resources to efficiently and effectively. Preparing rotas. Making sure all due diligence and daily paperwork is being completed correctly. Ensuring high cleaning standards are adhered to. Costings and Banking. Working with other managers on site to share responsibility of site management. Ideal Candidate We are looking for the following in applications: Experience within the food and beverage sector. Ability to communicate effectively with everyone, from conference delegates, lorry drivers, farmers, internal staff and the general public. Self-motivated with ability to adapt to a changing environment. Understanding of Health, Safety and food hygiene principles. Motivated by a passion for quality and service delivery. Interpersonal, administrative and organisational skills. Previous Catering Management experience or supervisory experience in a similar environment. Package Details.
