Hrgo are looking for a part time Catering Assistant in Dover. Previous experience of customer-facing role is desirable, reliable and be able to work on a shift rota, averaging 30 hours per week, to serve customers with quality food and drinks, general cleaning of the facilities. To assist the head chef, chefs and manager as required, with the running, development and profitability. Key job responsibilities * Welcoming customers and taking/serving orders with food and alcohol, as appropriate * Maintaining a professional and friendly atmosphere * Managing the till float and 'cashing up' * Actively upselling products to offer customers choice and increase profitability * Cleaning of all areas * Assisting with opening and closing procedures and practices * Making suggestions regarding menu planning, daily specials, opportunities for cost savings and any increases in profitability * Participate in the effective monitoring of stock levels and ordering processes This role is a 3 on 3 off shift rota basis, which covers weekends and bank holidays and over a 6-week period it averages around 30 hours a week.
