Our client is seeking a Catering Assistant to join the team based on the outskirts of Dover.

Duties include:

Welcoming customers and taking food/ drink orders

Maintaining a professional and friendly atmosphere and promote the cafe with excellent customer service

Managing the till float and cashing up

Ensuring that hygiene practises, processes and rules are followed at all times

Actively up selling products to offer customers choice and increase profitability

Cleaning of all areas of cafe inside and out, including washroom facilities

Assisting with the cafe opening and closing

Making suggestions regarding menu choice

Participate in the effective monitoring of stock levels

All other jobs and tasks requested by the cafe supervisors as and when required.

Hours are on a 3 on 3 off basis, 8.5 hours per day.
