Our client based in Taunton are currently looking for an Case Manager to assist the team on a temporary basis.
The role is to administer the Social Housing register for the District and as such will require the applicant to award a priority to an applicant based on the information provided against the policy.
The candidate will need to have an eye for detail and be used to considering and applying a policy and would need to have experience of dealing with sometimes difficult clients some of whom can have mental health conditions or other issues that impact on their ability to communicate. An understanding of housing would be an advantage.
The applicant will also be required to answer the telephone and respond to basic enquiries, answer email correspondence and work well as part of a team.
This is a new and additional role required due to a backlog of work and the team needing to undertake work in preparation for a new software system.
37 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm (with some flexibility)
£10.54 per hour starting rate
