HR GO are looking for a Candidate Attraction & Employer Branding Lead to work for a local authority in Oxford, providing support to various teams. Working hours are Monday - Friday 9:00am- 5pm. Period: 18 month contract Pay: PAYE £15.81 to 17.04 and LTD £19.68 to 21.21 Role Purpose: To deliver high quality communications that contribute to enhancing the company's reputation as an employer through public engagement and consultation; media handling; public affairs and recruitment marketing, branding and campaign management, with an emphasis on digital channels. This role will focus on defining the company's employer value proposition and promoting our brand to support the attraction of talent particularly for difficult to fill roles. This will involve working closely with the HR Resourcing team, engaging directly with candidate populations, utilising evolving recruitment technology, developing the careers website and use of a range of media channels and social platforms. Main duties of the job: * Work with internal clients to identify campaign objectives * Work with communications colleagues on creative thinking that will lead to campaigning that integrates all marketing and communications disciplines to effectively reach internal and external target audiences in innovative and economical ways * Use the county council's campaign planning approach, based on research and audience insight, to develop and deliver effective campaigns that meet agreed, measurable objectives * Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of campaign activity including social media reach/traction, news media coverage, listening to conversations on key external digital channels and tracking click throughs * Work in partnership with the media team to research and create engaging news packages/content calendars for campaigns that will reach wide audiences, including case studies, video, audio and social media posts/tweets * Take responsibility for protecting and enhancing the council's brand, which includes visual identity, corporate narrative and reputation among local and national stakeholders * Manage and develop council-owned marketing and communication channels, including direct marketing, social media advertising, poster sites * Purchase goods and commission services to support campaigns, following the council's buying guides and procurement rules * Communications planning and evaluation; Data and insight; Digital; Media and social media monitoring; Writing; Communications advice; Stakeholder management Apply today to get the opportunity while is still available!
