Additional new position - CAD /CAM Programmer required for this aerospace precision engineering company.

This permanent opportunity involves producing 3 and 5 axis CNC programs with supporting

documentation from both 2D drawings and 3D models. We are looking for someone who has strong Hypermill experience and ideally also has Vericut experience.

You will programming often complex high precision parts on CNC Mills and CNC lathes, resolving any post processor issues, working with the shop floor in proving the program and planning manufacturing methods and operating procedures (this will include any jig and fixture design).

You will also help with the continuous improvement initiatives by improving efficiency on any previous programs where possible and reducing scrap.

You will use your knowledge and experience to support the estimating function with cutting times and to generally support the shop floor where possible with technical support.
