Our client is a leading manufacturer in based in Sandwich, Kent. Our client is commitment to excellence. They are currently seeking a skilled Cable Harness Assembler to join our production team.

Job Summary:

The Cable Harness Assembler will be responsible for manufacturing cable harnesses and loom assemblies in accordance with company standards and specifications. The successful candidate will have experience in cable harness assembly, preferably with IPC/WHMA-A-620 training. The ability to work safely and adhere to health and safety policies is essential.

Responsibilities:

- Assemble cable harnesses and loom assemblies according to work instructions and specifications provided.

- Follow company health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment.

- Utilise a range of tools to manufacture and assemble components and assemblies.

- Complete all necessary documentation required for production tasks accurately and in a timely manner.

- Apply quality principles to ensure components meet the company's required standards.

- Collaborate with the team leader or nominated deputy to assemble precision and complex products.

- Utilise basic mechanical skills to support the assembly process.

- Utilise general hand tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in cable harness assembly is essential.

- IPC/WHMA-A-620 training is preferred.

- Knowledge of health and safety practices in a manufacturing environment.

- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and specifications.

- Basic mechanical experience would be beneficial.

- Experience with general hand tools is useful.

- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Good communication and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and meet production targets.
