Position: Business Development Representative

Location: Birkenhead

Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00am-5.30pm 37.5 Hours per week

Salary: DOE + Bonus

Due to growth and success, we are currently looking for several enthusiastic well driven individuals to work for a well establish Construction Consultancy Company.

The ideal candidate will be results driven, ideally with some outbound sales experience (not essential) to work alongside their existing team. If you have an interest in software sales and have gained previous telephone experience, then this role would be a great move for your career.

About the role:

As a Business Development Representative, you will be to create qualifies sales appointments for the Business Development Managers.

You will be required to.:

  • Research - Identify companies and contacts who fit with our ideal customer profile, sales campaigns and carry out research to help personalise your discussion

  • Outreach - Initiate conversations with prospects through personalised direct, outbound contact (mostly through outbound phone calls, emails and InMail's

  • Qualification - Evaluate and qualify prospects needs and fit for our product

  • Book Meetings - Convert qualified leads into sales opportunities for our Business Development Managers by booking and scheduling online calls and demos with potential customers

This role also has the opportunity to develop into a Business Development Manager if you are keen to progress.

About you:

  • An excellent telephone manner is essential as is the ability to confidently communicate at all levels. You will be calling a mixture of warm and cold leads, so people need to warm to you quickly and be happy to answer customer questions with confidence

  • Good written and verbal communication skills as well as attention to detail

  • Ability to compose emails which will catch a prospects attention and prompts action, as well as conveying value, empathy and understanding on phone calls

  • Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills

  • Be computer savvy - as you will be expected to use their bespoke CMS system

  • Determined to exceed targets and objections

Those who have experience within Sales or Business Development role, or even outbound sales-based experience would be ideally suited to this role. Will be hands on and have a proactive attitude with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
