A fast growing young company operating around the world delivering unrivalled rich-media content to an elite global audience of technology leaders in industry.

They blend decades of combined editorial experience with technical expertise and multichannel digital marketing nous to tell stories of success. Their clients include some of the largest companies and brands in the world, including Microsoft, Adobe, Lenovo, Accenture, BT and many more.

They are looking for two business development managers to join them at their central Norwich offices. You'll join a commercial team responsible for developing long-lasting relationships with very senior technology and marketing leaders around the world.

The Role

As a key part of a commercial team working towards ambitious company targets, your role will be primarily new-business focused. You will help form strong relationships with new clients and play a critical ongoing role in maintaining them over time. As well as initial outreach, you will play a key account management role throughout production - including some international travel - helping to ensure they always delight and over-deliver for both the clients and wider audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Working directly with the Commercial Director, energetically pursue an outreach strategy leveraging tools such as LinkedIn and professional networks to broaden the business pipeline;
  • Diligently update and maintain information in the company's database systems;
  • Maintain a solid and continuously improving knowledge base related to our topics and clients;
  • Confidently introduce the companies services to a wide range of senior leaders and executives and achieve and exceed monthly targets;
  • Work creatively with both the commercial and the broader team to innovate and improve our products, services and processes in service of our ultimate stakeholders - the audience and clients.

Who we're looking for

  • A minimum of 12 months sales and/or account management experience
  • Demonstrate a good working knowledge of the tech industry (not essential)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in a B2B environment desirable
  • Experience engaging with senior or C-level clients and stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, driven and goal-oriented
  • Confident and assured presenter
  • Organised with a rock-solid attention to detail
  • A creative flair and eagerness to self-generate new opportunities
  • A positive attitude and a passion for success
  • Established business networks and experience utilising social media to find new opportunities (LinkedIn, Twitter) desirable
