We are working with a market leading commercially focused multi-disciplinary consultancy who are looking for an additional Building Control Surveyor to cover Birmingham and the surrounding area You will be undertaking a client facing role with a wide variety of commercial clients carrying out plans checking and site inspections throughout Birmingham ensuring all building work complies with the relevant acts and legislation along with promoting the services of the Approved Inspector. You will be professional accredited with RICS, CABE, MBEng or CIOB and have either a degree or qualification in a construction related subject. You must be able to adequately show a sound understanding of the Building Regulations and use these in the process of their duties. You must be a strong communicator as you will not only be dealing with clients on a daily basis, but other construction professionals, colleagues and peers both on the phone and in person.
