HRGO is seeking a skilled Bench Joiner to join our award-winning client in the Birkenhead area, on a temp to perm basis. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in woodworking and carpentry, with a focus on creating high-quality products. As a Bench Joiner, you will be responsible for crafting and assembling wooden components to create wooden frames.
Location: Birkenhead
Pay: £14-16 per hour, dependent on experience
Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Selecting and preparing materials for joinery work
- Operating bench machinery (bench saw) and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble wooden components
- Ensuring accuracy and precision in all joinery work
- Collaborating with other team members to meet production deadlines
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Helping in production areas when required
Role Requirements:
- Previous proven experience in a bench joinery position is essential
- Qualifications in bench joinery
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge and previous experience of using a bench saw
