A Full, clean UK driving license is essential for this role.

Candidates Must;

*Be at least 18 years old

*Be eligible to work in the UK

*Live within a 10 mile radius of the Airport

*Hold a full UK/EU drivers licence

*Have current and valid photo ID and birth certificate.

*Have proof of NI Number

*Pass a colour blindness test

*Provide a full 5 year check-able history on registration and be helpful in assisting with the references

*Provide a basic Criminal Record Check - cost of which to be met by candidate

*Have no criminal record, or any unspent convictions

*Be willing to work all assigned shifts covering a 24 hour operation, including weekends and bank holidays

The Role:

This is temporary, on-going position expecting to last until November 2020 (dependant on references and performance).

Different shifts are available 20 and 30 hours per week (40 hours per week available from March), typically 4 on, 2 off and candidates MUST be able to work any shift as part of a 24 hour operation between Monday and Sunday - weekend work IS included.

Pay rate: £10.50 per hour

Potential start date is ASAP.

Training is for the first 2 weeks and is full time (upto 40 hours).

Please be aware you will have to obtain a basic DBS (at the candidate's expense) either before or during your training - this will be confirmed closer to the time.

Duties:

*Load and unload aircraft luggage weighing up to 32 Kilos

*Be able to work in confined spaces and from heights

*Responsible for maintaining safety and security of the ramp at all times Monitor Customer safety during boarding/offloading of aircraft and assist Customers where necessary

*Marshall aircraft on the ramp (includes directing, assisting and parking all arriving, departing and towed aircraft)

*Observe safe ground handling procedures and maintenance of ground handling equipment, including the performance of equipment checks

*Comply with all safety procedures and Station Policies

*Assist in ramp set-up and storage of equipment and baggage

*Communicate with Operations, Flight Crew personnel and other ground personnel.
