Absolute Executive Search are delighted to be partnered with a well established and reputable Accountancy Firm with offices in London, Kent and Sussex, who are looking for an Audit Director to join them in their London office.

The successful candidate will ideally have significant technical expertise and experience in auditing listed clients and PIEs.

The role will oversee the delivery of the Audit function work flow and, acting in the capacity of a formally approved "Responsible Individual", to directly manage a portfolio of Audit client relationships.

Other Key Responsibilities:-

• Provide high levels of technical specialism to clients directly and to internal client partners and managers.

• Ensure provision of a high quality client service experience to all Audit clients.

• Manage individual job budgets.

• Manage, coach and mentor managers and junior members of the team.

Key Requirements:-

• ACA/ACCA qualified.

• Experience in dealing with QAD and FRC reviews.

• Ability to draft high-level technical articles to assist with internal training.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Highly competent reviewer of financial statements prepared under IFRS.

• Proven track record of managing and mentoring successful teams.

• A desire for career progression and for achieving RI status.
