I have a lovely manufacturing company in Bridgwater looking for a Full time, perm Assistant Accountant to support the team
QBE or part qualified (someone looking to move into CIMA desirable and study support offered)
Sage 50 Accounts Professional experience
Looking for someone with strong accounts experience (good knowledge of excel) to help implement process change and in time assist in migrating accounts function into a new cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)
Month end management accounts (prepayments, accruals, depreciation, HP)
Assisting in compiling Finance meeting pack and Management Accounts
Supplier invoices entry via Sage 50 Accounts and statement reconciliation
Bank reconciliations (Natwest and ABN)
Cashflow reporting
PO reconciliation to invoice (working closely with Buying Manager)
Process and payment of Employee expenses
Credit Card reconciliation and postings
Supplier payment runs & Bankline payments
CIS deductions and returns
VAT returns
Year end audit (assist external auditors)
FSC audit
Sales invoices/processing projects in NAV (supporting Accounts Assistant on adhoc basis)
Secretarial support (assist in incoming phone calls)
Supporting stocktakes
Working week - 40 hours (homeworking 1 to 2 day available at managers discretion)
Hours 8:30-5pm (30mins unpaid lunch)
Monday - Friday
Salary - £25-27k depending on experience
Holiday - 28 days prorated (inc Bank Holidays)
1 week shutdown over festive period in addition to holiday allowances (at Directors discretion each year)
