Assembly / mechanical Fitter

In this position, the Assembly/ mechanical Fitter will be responsible for the following:

Assembling all sizes of brakes and Control Systems. The candidate must have strong mechanical skills in relation to, Mechanical / Industrial Equipment, some Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Electrical assembly experience. There will also be some testing- training will be provided

Basic Duties and Responsibilities (initially):

* Evaluate and interpret manufacturing assembly drawings and Engineering Bills of Materials

• Complete Assemblies in a timely manner

• Testing of Brakes Systems. Quality Control

• Have a passion for mechanical assembly

• Initiate and implement feedback to constantly improve our assembly systems

• Basic understanding of hydraulics circuits

• Basic understanding of pneumatic circuits

• Basic understanding of electrical wiring circuits

• Will have excellent analytical and communication skills

• Will demonstrate a positive attitude

• The ability to cooperate with team members and leaders

• Strong "people" skills

Advanced Duties and Responsibilities (after 2 to 5 vears):

• Troubleshooting Skills in relation to Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Electrical

• Service and Commissioning of Brakes and Systems around the world

Education and Experience:

A combination of over two years of directly related education, training and/or experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is desired for this position.
