They are an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer committed to work force diversity. * Need to be able to solder to IPC610 specification * Familiar with encapsulation and conventional process * Experience with machine operation and advantage * Conversant with lean methods and practices * Perform general assembly on sub-assemblies utilising appropriate assembly procedures * Building mechanical assemblies using hand tools * Placing PCBs onto test bed of nails test jigs * Test sub-assemblies in electronic test fixtures to hand solder components and wire leads into sub-assemblies/PCBs and crop as required * Learn and perform basic troubleshooting procedures and rework for norm conforming units * To insert components into printed circuit boards following written instruction and / or referring to example diagram * Set up equipment needed to assemble printed circuit assemblies * Meet daily production requirements * Experience assembling mechanical devices and assemblies * High school diploma or equivalent * Knowledge and demonstrated ability in the use of hand tools including soldering equipment, screwdrivers, wrenches and heat guns * Ideally IPC-A-160 certified * Thorough understanding of workmanship standards and quality control procedures * Comfortable use of Microsoft office suite * Good manual dexterity To apply for this role through HRGO Recruitment please click on the "apply button" HRGO Recruitment offers permanent and temporary jobs across the UK - visit hrgo.co.uk to get in touch with your local branch for more opportunities
