A small appliance repair engineer is required to join the team at a super friendly family run business in Eastbourne to assist with fault finding and repairing vacuum cleaners, microwaves, toasters, small ovens etc. The ideal candidate will be a competent small appliance engineer who is experienced in fault finding with a range of appliances, however, if you have worked in another type of repair centre environment or indeed you have been working as a service engineer 'on the road' and now looking to be site based, this may be ideal for you. You will be happy in a customer facing role and to be working with the general public because the shop is a counter service. You will be a self-reliant and responsible member of a small friendly team. Required Knowledge and Experience: o Applicants must have experience in repairing domestic appliances such as vacuum cleaners, microwaves, toasters etc. Exp working on larger appliances will also be considered. o You need to have the ability to manage an allocated workload and carry out repairs in accordance with instructions given. o You must also be presentable and have excellent communication skills. o Experience of providing excellent customer service.
