Working as a key part of the Ground operations management team for this cargo airline you will be responsible for all things surrounding Dangerous goods. As the subject matter expert for Dangerous goods by air (IATA Regs and ICAO Doc 9284 Technical Instructions) you will: * Oversee DG exemptions and approvals, preparing reports and applications when required. * Ensure service providers and staff comply with regulations, following up on incidents and then reporting them to appropriate authorities * Ensure key information regarding regulations and pending legislation is provided to the appropriate department and employees. * Represent the company, liaising with national, international and governmental agencies. * Prepare and execute audits. * Create and implement DG safety policies, along with procedures, in the event of any non-compliance's.
