Location: Whitstable, Kent
Hours: Monday - Thursday - 8am - 4.30pm & Friday 8am - 1.30pm
Hourly Rate: £11.54

Our client is a well established & a leading manufacturer in based in Whitstable, Kent who is commitment to excellence. We are seeking experienced Administrator to support various facets of the Facilities and Maintenance team.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent Excel & administrative skills, including data entry, purchase order processing, and document creation. The Administrator will also be responsible for liaising with preferred suppliers to source technical parts and ensuring effective communication.
Responsibilities, but not limited too:-
Provide administrative support to the Facilities and Maintenance department, ensuring smooth operations and efficient processes.
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records of maintenance activities, purchase orders, and other relevant information.
Process purchase orders in accordance with established procedures, ensuring timely and accurate procurement of necessary materials and services.
Create critical component documents, such as maintenance schedules, equipment lists, and inventory reports, to support effective maintenance planning and execution.
Liaise with preferred suppliers to source technical parts, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective solutions.
Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing, to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide updates on maintenance activities.
Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and implement best practices for administrative tasks.
Stay updated on industry trends and developments related to facilities and maintenance management, recommending innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an administrator, preferably in a facilities or maintenance support role.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document creation.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate clearly on the phone.
