Our client are a new Airline business looking for a full time Accounts Assistant to join their growing team.

You will join a highly motivated and professional team based in Bishops Stortford. Reporting to the finance manager, the successful candidate will have previous experience working in a challenging and demanding environment and be adaptable to changing priorities.

• Assisting with month end duties
• Bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Management of internal operations solution, covering time recording, expenses, disbursements and project creation to include -
• Running reports
• Data entry
• Processing data
• Raising of VAT invoices
• Logging invoices
• Invoice submission to clients
• Liaising with the directors over expense/timesheet and approvals
• Liaising with third party accountants.

Requirements & skills

• Advanced MS office skills
• Experience using Sage
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Be well organized
• Have the competency to prioritise multiple tasks
• Able to work to strict deadlines/juggle workloads
• Comfortable working both in a team and independently
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Experience in a similar role is preferable

• Scanning supplier invoices on to server.
