HR GO Recruitment are currently assisting a local organisation in their search for an Accounts Assistant. This company pride themselves on the wide range of services they offer as well as maintaining a hands-on, specialised approach to all that they do. As an Accounts Assistant you will be at the heart of the business building strong working relationships with your clients. Main Duties: * Accounts preparation for sole traders and partnerships * Preparation of VAT Returns * Review of management accounts * Preparation of year end/monthly end accounts * Travelling, when necessary, to client premises * Keeping senior management informed of all progress on jobs * Other ad hoc tasks as directed by your line manager The ideal candidate: * Experience in an accountancy practise is essential for this position * Intermediate IT Skills, including software such as QuickBooks and Sage * Management Accounts experience * Able to work to tight deadlines * An AAT qualification is also essential * Due to the location of the offices, own transport is required Salary and Benefits: * The salary on offer is £22,000 - £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience) * Working hours are as follows; Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm and Friday 9am - 4pm * 20 days holiday plus 8 B.H days * Contributary pension scheme * Childcare vouchers
