Job Role: 1:1 SEND Learning Support Assistant.

Location - Sevenoaks, Kent

HRGO Education are in search of a 1:1 SEND Learning Support assistant to support a KS3 pupil with epilepsy.

HRGO Education are recruiting for a progressive school based in Sevenoaks, Kent. They are seeking a SEND learning support assistant with a passion for supporting young people with epilepsy/SEND.

The school was rated "Good" by Ofsted and are well resourced to support the additional needs of their young people. The school provides a free lunch for all staff and parking on site. You can easily commute to the school from the local areas of Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Edenbridge and Westerham.

The SEND Learning Support role:

• Supporting a SEND pupil 1:1 with their academic work and around the school site.
• Being a positive role model and establishing positive relationships with pupils and helping to develop their social skills.
• Working well with other members of school staff to provide a stimulating learning environment.

What you will need:

• Previous SEND support experience.
• A desire to learn new SEND teaching strategies and skills to best support students.
• Be able to comfortably work 1:1 with pupils.
• Organised, reliable, friendly, hard-working and resilient with a good sense of humour.
• Enhanced DBS or one in progress.
