HR GO are seeking Temporary (ongoing) Workforce Supervisor for our established client, based in Margate. You will be overseeing the assisting in running of operations within your department, ensuring a safe, clean and attractive environment for all service users at all times
The Ideal Candidate:
You will have a good knowledge of:
- Health and safety requirements impacting on frontline manual workforce
- Use of HGV & 7.5 vehicles (Desirable)
- Admin
- Staff Management skills
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Management of staff performance and resolution of staffing issues
- Current Clean Driving Licence
- Use of CRM systems, mapping systems and maintaining auditing paper records
- Train the trainer qualification manual handling / lifting machinery
Main Duties:
- Supervising the effective co-ordination, delivery and quality services and including prioritising work in relation to demand and the scope of the resources available
- Contract inspection and the issuing of default notices in relation to externally contracted services
- Assisting in joint service co-ordination, delivery, quality and supervision of all services across 7 days of operation per week
- Dealing with staff work delivery, performance, appraisals and discipline, including the assessment of timesheets, dealing with sickness and managing holiday scheduling, and organising agency cover if required
- Assisting with the effective management of all material supplies, depots associated with the service, including all maintenance work
- Responsibility for health and safety in relation to all operations and activities
- Responding effectively to requests and complaints from customers
- Assisting with the engagement of services from external suppliers to support the operation of services
- Responding to emergencies and undertaking call out duties as required managers
- Managing risk in relation to the operations
- Providing service and staffing reports and making recommendations for the development services
- Complying with the Health and Safety Policy, Risk Assessments and all relevant legislation
- Complying with the Equal Opportunities Polices for Employment and Delivery of Service, and co-operating in measures introduced to implement and monitor policies
- To have the normal responsibilities for Health and Safety that apply to all employees
