HRGO Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established industrial and recycling company for a full-time Wash Plant Machine Operative / FLT Driver. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience working within a recycling, manufacturing, waste management or similar industrial environment. Applicants with experience operating machinery and a valid FLT licence are encouraged to apply.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor wash plant machinery safely and efficiently
Load and move materials using a forklift truck
Set up and operate equipment in line with company procedures
Monitor the wash plant throughout the production process
Ensure materials are processed safely and efficiently
Carry out routine checks on machinery and equipment
Report equipment faults and maintenance issues
Keep the working area clean and organised
Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures
Complete relevant production and operational paperwork
Work as part of the production team
Report any issues to the relevant supervisor or manager
About You:
Valid FLT licence is essential
Previous experience operating industrial machinery is desirable
Experience within recycling, manufacturing, waste management or a similar industrial environment is preferred
Good understanding of safe working practices within an industrial environment
Comfortable working both day and night shifts
Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn
Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Good attention to detail
Physically fit and comfortable working in an industrial environment
