Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse/Forklift Operative to join our busy client in Canvey Island. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including picking and packing, loading/unloading deliveries, and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles
Sort, move, and store stock within the warehouse
Carry out regular stock checks and report discrepancies
Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe
Follow company processes and procedures for handling goods
Assist with goods-in and goods-out operations
Use hand-held scanners and other warehouse equipment (training provided if needed)
Support team members and contribute to smooth daily operations
Requirements:
Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Good communication skills
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Flexibility to work overtime or shift patterns when required
