Warehouse Racking Operative

Location: New Romney
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm
Break: 1-hour unpaid lunch
Duration: Temporary, with potential for further work

We are looking for reliable and physically capable Warehouse Racking Operatives to join our client in New Romney.

The role will involve dismantling existing warehouse racking, moving it to another unit on the same site and then rebuilding and reinstalling it.

Duties

  • Dismantling warehouse racking
  • Moving racking to another unit on the same site
  • Rebuilding and reinstalling warehouse racking
  • Manual handling and heavy lifting
  • Working at height using a Skyjack
  • General warehouse duties associated with the dismantling and rebuilding work
  • Following health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements Desirable

  • Previous experience dismantling and rebuilding warehouse racking is highly desirable
  • Previous experience operating a Skyjack or similar access equipment is desirable
  • Comfortable with manual work and heavy lifting
  • Comfortable working at height
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Able to travel to the site independently
  • Good attitude and willingness to work as part of a team

Hours & Availability

Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm
1-hour unpaid lunch break
